What is Systematic Kinesiology?
Our body is an amazing thing, it is more than muscles, bones, organs and glands, it is energy - electrical impulses, signals, and chemical reactions, which are all connected by a network of energetic channels. The natural flow of energy can be disrupted by emotional, physical, electromagnetic and geopathic stress. When these pathways become blocked or imbalanced it can result in illness. Imbalances can be physical, nutritional, emotional and energetic.
Systematic Kinesiology is a non-invasive, safe form of natural healthcare that aims to get to the root of a health issue and to discover imbalances you may have in your body, no matter how small. Muscle testing is used to reveal the imbalance causing your ill health, whether it manifests as a physical or emotional problem. Once found a treatment plan is devised to support you.
A wide range of powerful techniques are used and depending on which are required could include, massaging lymphatic points, recommending nutritional support, Bach Flower remedies or essential oils, chakra balancing, acupressure, emotional stress release techniques, coaching, EFT and suggested lifestyle changes, for example, making temporary changes to your diet.
Kinesiology is a truly holistic experience that supports the mind and body helping on an emotional and physical level. It is for all people without exception. Anyone of any age from babies to adults. The powerful techniques used to support health issues are also wonderful when used as a preventative treatment.
How does Kinesiology work?
Each muscle is related to an organ and also to an energy pathway called a meridian. Together the muscle, organ and meridian form a circuit. If there are chemical, emotional, physical or energetic stresses affecting the circuit the muscle tested will feel ‘spongy’ or weak indicating an imbalance. An imbalance is when we feel pain, discomfort, illness & disease or we just don’t feel right. When we are in balance our body is in harmony and we feel well.
What can I expect in a Kinesiology appointment?
On your first visit we will complete a short health questionnaire. During your session you will lie, fully clothed, on the treatment couch where I will perform a range of simple muscle tests to identify any imbalances. Once identified a range of techniques will be used to correct the imbalance and restore good physical and mental health and well-being.
How many sessions will I need?
How many sessions you will need varies. It will depend on the symptoms you have and how long you have had them and it also depends on the severity of your condition. It may also depend on any lifestyle changes you are prepared to make. This is your journey and we will devise a plan to support you through.
